Maia shoots for a double leg takedown but Baratheon sprawls well. He's pushed Maia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Baratheon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Maia fails with the takedown.
Robert Baratheon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braulio Maia.
Maia scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Maia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baratheon keeps working.
Baratheon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Maia asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Maia wants to control from the top but Baratheon keeps moving.

Baratheon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maia.

Baratheon drops Maia onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Maia is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Maia is rocked!
Baratheon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Maia backwards.
Maia is still on wobbly legs! Can Baratheon finish him?
Baratheon creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Maia with a big uppercut! Maia tries to clinch up but Baratheon pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Maia to the mat! Maia covers up and Baratheon unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
