Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Da Cougar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zap Morten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cougar comes to the cage accompanied by Those Damn Blue Collar Tweekers. Morten has chosen Some Bodies Gonna Get It as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Da Cougar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zap Morten!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morten tries to bum rush Cougar with a series of wild strikes but Cougar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Morten just misses with a punch to the body.
Cougar dives in and grabs Morten's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morten pushes down on Cougar's head and hops out.
Cougar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morten paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cougar lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cougar.
Morten uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Morten falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cougar counters by clinching up.
Cougar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Morten uses from the top position.
Morten is looking to stand up but Cougar won't let him.
Morten is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Morten decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Morten throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morten works over Cougar's head and body with a nice combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cougar forces Morten back against the cage and clinches.
Cougar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cougar manages to end up in side control.
Cougar has hold of Morten's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Morten seems comfortable defending it but Cougar has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Morten is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Morten is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cougar couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Da Cougar!
