Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Newton Oreck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DMX - Who We Be kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Earl Simmons told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oreck shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Simmons defends it nicely.
Oreck tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Simmons connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Oreck momentarily.
Oreck tries to clinch up but Simmons circles away and keeps his distance.
Oreck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oreck fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Newton Oreck. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Simmons scores with a hook.
Simmons lunges at Oreck with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Oreck's hand.
Oreck shoots in for a double leg but Simmons sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Simmons lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Oreck is looking to close the distance but Simmons sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Oreck crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Oreck is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
