Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harry Hirsch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stig Tuuri!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirsch throws a leg kick but Tuuri moved away.
Hirsch moves into the clinch.
Hirsch breaks the clinch.
Hirsch tries a head kick but it misses.
Hirsch closes the distance and pushes Tuuri back into the cage.
Hirsch keeps control of Tuuri as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tuuri fails to pull guard.
Hirsch leaning his opponent against the cage.
Hirsch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hirsch tries to clinch up.
Tuuri goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Tuuri throws a series of punches but Hirsch moves out of range.
Hirsch on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hirsch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tuuri throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Hirsch colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Tuuri as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Hirsch is left battered and dazed whilst Tuuri and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stig Tuuri!
