Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morris Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yousaf Kurracon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Morris Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yousaf Kurracon!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kurracon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
Brown looks to land a combination but Kurracon avoids it well.
Brown fails to land the takedown.

Kurracon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Brown is trying to maintain the position but Kurracon is very close to passing his half guard.
Brown misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Brown is trying to get back to full guard.
Brown is in trouble now - Kurracon has advanced to mount!
Kurracon controlling the pace for now.
I looks like Kurracon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Brown is squirming around, avoiding Kurracon's attempts to control the action.
Kurracon controlling the pace for now.

Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Yousaf Kurracon just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kurracon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Kurracon does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Kurracon counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kurracon wants to free his trapped foot but Brown is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Kurracon is pressing down on Brown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brown is holding on for now.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kurracon in particular looking to stall.

Brown's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well Kurracon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
