Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chute Box Theme. Carlos Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa stuffs the takedown.
Figueroa misses the shot to the body.
Figueroa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.
Figueroa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Figueroa was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Figueroa is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie.
