Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sundin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sundin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Guti darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Guti tries to stand and escape but Sundin is controlling the position.

Guti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sundin defends it well.

Sundin is defending against the submission attempts here by Guti.
Guti is trying to control the action in half guard but Sundin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Guti decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Guti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sundin pinned against the cage. Sundin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Guti misses with a jab, cross combination.

Guti shoots in looking for a takedown. Sundin tries to sprawl out of it but Guti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sundin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sundin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sundin wants to control from the top but Guti keeps moving.

Guti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sundin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sundin's back instead.

Guti has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Sundin is defending well but eventually Guti manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Sundin has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
