Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vileplume moves away from the strike by Landfill.
Landfill shoots in for a double leg but Vileplume sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Landfill shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vileplume as he avoids it easily.
Vileplume closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Landfill to the mat! Landfill manages to get full guard.
Vileplume is standing up over Landfill. Landfill looks to escape but Vileplume dives into side control.
Landfill is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Vileplume is looking to take a break and control but Landfill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

I looks like Vileplume might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Landfill is trying to get back to his feet but Vileplume has full control of the position and if anything, Landfill has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Despite being in the dominant position, Oddish Vileplume just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
