The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nottingham throws an overhand right that lands on Moye's shoulder, as Moye tries to avoid the shot.
nottingham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moye paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Moye can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as nottingham is looking to escape.

nottingham tries to lock up and control but Moye gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Moye has hold of nottingham's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and nottingham manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
nottingham looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Moye is trying to stick to nottingham's back but nottingham is turning into Moye. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Moye's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by nottingham.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Moye wants to sweep here but nottingham controlling him for the moment.

Moye has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, nottingham has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
