And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scipio Africanus!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ moves in looking to clinch but Africanus pushes him off.
Champ tries to clinch but Africanus is having none of it.
Africanus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Africanus circles away from the clinch attempt.
Champ tries to clinch but Africanus is having none of it.
Africanus lands a jab to Champ's midsection.
Africanus swats away the attempt to clinch by Champ.
Africanus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Champ fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Africanus checks it well.
Steven Champ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Africanus connects with a looping right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A jab from Africanus does it's job there.
Champ tries to close the distance and clinch but Africanus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Champ takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Champ takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Steven Champ has been cut.
Africanus scores with a sloppy right hand. Champ should have avoided that one.

Africanus cracks Champ with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Africanus has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Champ to stand back up!

Champ is rocked!
Champ throws a leg kick but Africanus sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Oh Champ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Champ takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Champ seems to have got his legs back now.
Champ walks into a jab.
Africanus lands a jab to Champ's midsection.
Champ is breathing heavily.
Africanus scores with a shot to the body.
Africanus displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Africanus drops Champ with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Champ looks back up at him and smiles so Africanus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Africanus closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Champ out cold! Champ corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
