The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdias throws a series of punches but de Oliveira moves out of range.
Abdias is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Abdias dives in and grabs de Oliveira's left leg, looking for a takedown. de Oliveira pushes down on Abdias's head and hops out.

and Abdias counters with a three punch combo that has de Oliveira backing up. de Oliveira nods at Abdias to acknowledge the strikes.

de Oliveira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Abdias wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
