PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dag Guti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radik Borishov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borishov has chosen Pozavi Menya - Lube as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guti fails with the takedown.
Guti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Guti misses with a series of wild punches.
Borishov throws a right and a left that Guti avoids nicely.
Guti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Guti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Borishov to the mat! Borishov manages to get full guard.

Borishov had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Guti is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Borishov Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Guti's back instead.
Borishov lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Borishov.

Guti is covering up but some of the strikes from Borishov are getting through and doing damage.
Guti is taking damage to the body and head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guti controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Guti is breathing heavily.
Guti manages to reverse the position and now he's in Borishov's guard. Nice work there by Guti.

Borishov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Guti drops back, looking for a kneebar! Borishov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Borishov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Borishov!
Guti tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Guti is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Guti is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Borishov is tapping! Great win for Guti!
