The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabah Nur uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hondo.

Hondo throws a hook to the side of Sabah Nur's head but Sabah Nur sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hondo looks to land a right hand but Sabah Nur moved out of range.

Hondo loads up on a big right hand but Sabah Nur slips the punch.
Hondo thows a body shot but no joy.

Sabah Nur tries to close the distance and clinch but Hondo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hondo needs to keep his hands up - Sabah Nur had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Trent Hondo has been cut.
Hondo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hondo punishes Sabah Nur's body with a nice straight punch.

Nice combo by Sabah Nur! Oh, that's hurt him - Hondo falls to the canvas and Sabah Nur follows him into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sabah Nur lands a strong strike to the head of Hondo. That's dazed him! Sabah Nur looking to finish here. Hondo is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Sabah Nur lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
