Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Turtchin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Xervian Naciamento!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naciamento fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turtchin leaves Naciamento with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Turtchin swings for the body but Naciamento moves out of range.
Turtchin scores with a punch to the head.


It looks like Xervian Naciamento has been cut.

Naciamento shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Turtchin's guard.
Turtchin wants to sweep but no luck.
Naciamento is looking to advance position but Turtchin has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Naciamento is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Turtchin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Naciamento looks a forlorn figure.
Turtchin avoids the attempt from Naciamento to control.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Naciamento is looking to improve his position but Turtchin isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turtchin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Turtchin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Naciamento manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rodrigo Turtchin.
A combination from Turtchin does no damage.
Naciamento has a takedown stuffed.
Turtchin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Turtchin misses with a hook.
Turtchin misses with a two punch combination.
Naciamento avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Rodrigo Turtchin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Turtchin throws a right and a left that Naciamento avoids nicely.
Turtchin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

No joy there for Turtchin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turtchin stuns Naciamento with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Turtchin works Naciamento's body with a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Naciamento on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Naciamento is breathing heavily.
A punch combination from Turtchin misses.
Turtchin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Naciamento showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Turtchin.
Naciamento moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Turtchin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Turtchin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rodrigo Turtchin is winning the standup battle so far.

Turtchin bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Naciamento! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Naciamento is rocked!


That has opened up Xervian Naciamento's cut even more.
Turtchin stays in close to Naciamento's body and controls the position.
Naciamento is still in real trouble! Can Turtchin finish him?
Naciamento seems to have recovered his senses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turtchin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Turtchin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rodrigo Turtchin.
Turtchin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Turtchin lands a big shot that drops Naciamento! Can he finish him?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Turtchin lands a stunning uppercut that sends Naciamento to the mat!


The cut above Xervian Naciamento's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Turtchin is taking a breather. Naciamento says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rodrigo Turtchin.
Turtchin connects with a superb combination that knocks Naciamento out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Turtchin before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Naciamento!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rodrigo Turtchin!
