Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocko Dozer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Smith has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rocko Dozer's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dozer's guard.

Smith drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smith jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dozer wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith drops back looking for a leg! Dozer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dozer manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Dozer's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Smith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dozer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
Dozer is not content to let Smith control the position.
Dozer throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Smith advances nicely into full mount.
Dozer wants to control but Smith is having none of it.

Smith postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dozer looks a forlorn figure.

Smith jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dozer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dozer and Smith has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dozer throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Dozer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Dozer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dozer throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.

Smith is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dozer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dozer has escaped and now he's on top!

Dozer jumps guard but Smith stands there with Dozer around his waist. Dozer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith trying to keep a closed guard but Dozer is proving a slippery customer.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dozer is looking to improve his position but Smith isn't that keen on the idea.
Dozer is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action.

Smith has control of Dozer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dozer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dozer wants to hold on but Smith pushes him away.

Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
