Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christopher Andersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hunter Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Andersson keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass.
Jackson pushes down on Andersson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jackson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Andersson is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andersson is in trouble now - Jackson has advanced to mount!
Jackson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Andersson is trying to escape the mount.
Jackson pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Andersson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Oh Andersson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson cracks Andersson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Jackson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Andersson has worked his arm free - good work by Andersson!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson tries for a kimura but Andersson is defending well.
Jackson is working Andersson over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jackson looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Andersson is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it.

Jackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Andersson, who protects the arm well.
Jackson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Andersson down.
Andersson tries to bench press Jackson off him but Jackson keeps the position.
Jackson advances to mount.
Andersson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Andersson seems to have got his legs back now.
Jackson landing strikes from the mount and Andersson is in trouble!
Andersson prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Andersson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Jackson has control of Andersson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Andersson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Andersson gets back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jackson lands a nice short elbow.
Andersson has hold of Jackson's hands but Jackson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jackson moves into full mount! Andersson won't be happy about that!
Jackson lands a big elbow.

Jackson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Andersson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Andersson!
Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Andersson manages to get himself to full guard.
Jackson works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Andersson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Jackson is working for a submission of some sort.
Andersson tries to roll over but Jackson keeps him under control.

Jackson is working for a kimura but Andersson is defending it quite comfortably.

Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Andersson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson.
Jackson is tying to control. Andersson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jackson working over Andersson with some ground and pound. Andersson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jackson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Andersson!
Jackson lands a nice shot to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jackson lands a heavy elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Andersson is trying to escape the mount.
Jackson scoring with strikes but Andersson is staying in there.
Andersson has given up his back. Will we see Jackson going for some submissions?

Jackson looking for the choke but no joy.

Jackson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Andersson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson doesn't have the hooks in and Andersson manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter Jackson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A big head kick from Andersson and Jackson is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Hunter Jackson has been cut.
Andersson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Andersson finish him?

Andersson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jackson's head.
Hunter Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Andersson stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Andersson controlling him for the moment.
Andersson arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jackson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Christopher Andersson!
