PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krysz Kawolski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Norman Osborn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krysz Kawolski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Norman Osborn!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kawolski throws a lazy right hand but Osborn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Osborn tries to close the distance and clinch but Kawolski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Osborn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Norman Osborn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice uppercut lands for Kawolski. That snapped Osborn's head back.
Osborn leaves Kawolski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Osborn is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kawolski asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kawolski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kawolski is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Osborn's shoulder. That is not cool.

Osborn is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Kawolski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Osborn has escaped the position, nice work there.
Osborn wants to get back to his feet but Kawolski drags him back down.
Kawolski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Osborn keeps working.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Osborn just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kawolski's brow.

Osborn swings wildly with an uppercut but Kawolski uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kawolski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Osborn smiles and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Osborn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kawolski swivels and escapes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kawolski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Osborn lands a big head kick that sends Kawolski to the canvas! Osborn follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
