Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between carlos slaws (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and munzu vunzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
slaws keeps the fight on the outside.

vunzu moves into range and clinches up with slaws.

vunzu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
slaws shoots in for a takedown but vunzu shows good takedown defense.
slaws moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

vunzu has closed the distance and engaged slaws in a clinch.

vunzu manages to break the clinch.
slaws really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
vunzu throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

slaws is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

vunzu lands with a nice combination. slaws backs away looking to recover.

slaws tries to stall but vunzu uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
vunzu is pressed up against the cage. slaws has hold of a leg and is looking to drag vunzu down to the mat. vunzu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as vunzu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

vunzu has slaws pressed against the cage, preventing slaws from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
slaws tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
slaws has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
vunzu lands a knee to the head.

and slaws counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for vunzu!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

vunzu has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of slaws's face.

vunzu jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but slaws manages to avoid the submission attempt.

vunzu doesn't manage to clinch there - slaws circles away.

slaws closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - slaws lands in his opponent's guard.
slaws stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. vunzu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

munzu vunzu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well vunzu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
