Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marques Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey comes into the arena with Gonna Fly Now blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anstey paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Anstey throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Anderson blocks it with crossed arms.

Anderson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Anstey is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Anderson to the mat. Anderson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Anderson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Anstey cranks the arm and Anderson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Anderson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
