Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svensson has chosen Metallica - Hit The Lights! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mats Svensson enters the cage!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Singh!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mats Svensson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh takes a swing at Svensson's ribcage but misses.
Singh misses with a wild combination.
Singh connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Mats Svensson has been cut.
Singh throws a series of punches but Svensson moves out of range.
Svensson misses with a takedown attempt - Singh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Singh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A head kick misses from Singh.
Svensson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Singh counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Singh throws a lazy right hand but Svensson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Svensson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Singh throws a sloppy head kick and Svensson moves out of range easily.
Singh throws a head kick that misses.
Singh cracks Svensson with an open hand slap.
Singh slips a straight right by Svensson.
Svensson drops his hands momentarily and Singh takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Svensson is rocked!
Svensson misses with a takedown attempt
and Singh counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Svensson has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Simon Singh!
