Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Zodiac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Zodiac!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zodiac decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Zodiac not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Spencer wants to improve his position but Zodiac is controlling well.
Zodiac thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Zodiac working over Spencer with some ground and pound. Spencer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Zodiac looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Spencer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Zodiac thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Spencer to regain full guard.

Zodiac is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Spencer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zodiac.

Spencer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zodiac pulls his head out easily.

Zodiac stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spencer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Zodiac counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spencer is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jordan Zodiac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Spencer scores with a one two! Zodiac had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Spencer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Michael Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zodiac fails with a takedown attempt.

Zodiac avoids the body shot from Spencer.
Zodiac swats away the attempt to clinch by Spencer.
Spencer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zodiac takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Spencer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zodiac swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zodiac crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Spencer - the referee stops the clock and Zodiac gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Spencer. Zodiac manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Spencer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Spencer tries to close the distance and clinch but Zodiac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Spencer throws a sloppy head kick and Zodiac moves out of range easily.
Zodiac takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Spencer cracks Zodiac with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Spencer lands with a kick to the temple. Zodiac shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Spencer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Spencer looks to clinch
and Zodiac counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Spencer's guard now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spencer wants to get back to his feet but Zodiac is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Spencer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zodiac doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zodiac manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Spencer is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Zodiac has his hands clasped together but Spencer extends an breaks Zodiac's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Spencer.
