Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sgt Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nam Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nam Brookins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sgt Parrotface!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nam Brookins!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brookins staying out of range there.
Parrotface is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brookins is looking to clinch but Parrotface is avoiding it.
Parrotface is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brookins tries to clinch up.
Brookins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Parrotface feints and as Brookins raises his hands in defense, Parrotface changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Brookins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Parrotface wants to stand but Brookins is controlling his posture from full guard.

Parrotface drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Parrotface jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Brookins is trying to keep Parrotface in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Parrotface drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brookins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Parrotface has Brookins in his guard.
Brookins looking to sit in guard and control but Parrotface gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brookins is trying to keep Parrotface in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Parrotface wants to pass the guard but Brookins is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parrotface trying to control but Brookins is working from the bottom.
Parrotface looking to pass the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parrotface prevents Brookins from getting back to his feet.
Brookins is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Brookins is trying to hold Parrotface in close to prevent damage but Parrotface has managed to pass into half guard.

Parrotface throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Parrotface is working for a kimura but Brookins is defending it quite comfortably.
Parrotface is stalling here. Brookins is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Parrotface seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Brookins has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Brookins tries to move to mount but Parrotface blocks the move with his legs.
Brookins trying to control the position but Parrotface is working away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Brookins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Parrotface has escaped the position, nice work there.
Parrotface gets back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brookins stalling away here and it's allowed Parrotface to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sgt Parrotface dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Parrotface throws out a loose jab but Brookins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parrotface doesn't manage to clinch there - Brookins circles away.
Brookins with a poor takedown

and Parrotface counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brookins won't be happy with that.

Parrotface thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Parrotface working away.
Parrotface wants to control but Brookins is keeping him busy.
Parrotface advances to full mount.
Brookins working to try and regain half guard.

Parrotface is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brookins can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Parrotface looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Parrotface trying to control but Brookins is having none of it.
Brookins wants to hold on but Parrotface pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Parrotface is working for a guillotine from mount but Brookins frees his head quite easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brookins working to try and regain half guard.
Brookins tries to hold on but Parrotface postures up.
Parrotface looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brookins holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Parrotface tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Parrotface here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Parrotface can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brookins is looking to escape.
Parrotface landing strikes from the mount and Brookins is in trouble!
Brookins tries to lock up and control but Parrotface gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Parrotface working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Brookins turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Parrotface off and cradles Brookins's limp body as Parrotface celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Sgt Parrotface!
