Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Im Jerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LITTLE SPIKE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Im Jerk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, LITTLE SPIKE!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

SPIKE is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jerk's half guard.

SPIKE is looking for a kimura here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with SPIKE in particular looking to stall.
SPIKE lands with a punch from half guard.
Jerk pushes SPIKE off looking to stand but SPIKE dives back in and keeps control.
SPIKE is pressing down on Jerk's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jerk is holding on for now.
SPIKE looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Jerk makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Jerk moves in looking to clinch but SPIKE pushes him off.
SPIKE throws a right hand that Jerk ducks under and follows up with a left that Jerk also avoids with ease.
SPIKE circles away from the clinch attempt.

SPIKE gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jerk wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jerk is looking to break free of the clinch but SPIKE has double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Jerk's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jerk wants to break free but SPIKE has control.

SPIKE escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
SPIKE fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jerk clinches up against the cage.
SPIKE is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jerk gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jerk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jerk wants to break the clinch but can't.
SPIKE keeps control of Jerk as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
SPIKE tries for a takedown but Jerk manages to get underhooks.
Im Jerk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LITTLE SPIKE.
Jerk has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jerk is pressed up against the cage. SPIKE has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jerk down to the mat. Jerk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Im Jerk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
SPIKE looks gassed!
Jerk leaves SPIKE with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jerk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
SPIKE swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Jerk has one foot on SPIKE's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
SPIKE is keen to just control but Jerk is a slippery customer.

SPIKE is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jerk tries to kick SPIKE off in order to stand up. SPIKE Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Jerk is pushing SPIKE's head away, looking to escape. SPIKE manages to hold on to the position though.

The ground and pound from SPIKE seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and SPIKE counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
SPIKE wants to control from the top but Jerk keeps moving.
Jerk is looking to stand up but SPIKE isn't so interested in that idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
SPIKE's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LITTLE SPIKE dominated that round.
That's time! Jerk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

SPIKE connects with a couple of short punches.
SPIKE won't allow Jerk to get back to his feet.

Jerk wants to stand and escape but SPIKE is having none of it.
SPIKE controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Jerk is working an open guard so SPIKE takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
SPIKE lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by SPIKE.

SPIKE not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
SPIKE circles away from the clinch attempt

and SPIKE moves into the clinch.

Jerk is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! SPIKE has taken his back!
SPIKE lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Jerk is taking damage to the body and head.
Jerk is trying to stand back up.
A lull in the action here.
Jerk holding both SPIKE 's hands and preventing any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
SPIKE controls the action.
SPIKE is looking to control Jerk but Jerk is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Jerk wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LITTLE SPIKE showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

SPIKE looking to break Jerk's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jerk remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise SPIKE will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

SPIKE working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Jerk is doing well to defend. SPIKE seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Jerk is forced to tap and this one is over!
