Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yujiro Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cute comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. Yujiro Hanma will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cute throws a solid leg kick but Hanma takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cute.
Cute fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cute is defended easily by Hanma.
Hanma fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cute shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hanma counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cute's guard now.

Hanma seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hanma wants to stand and escape but instead Cute has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Cute might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cute wants to control from the top but Hanma keeps moving.
Cute stands and throws Hanma's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on Hanma's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cute is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hanma's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hanma wants to control but Cute postures up.
Cute is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hanma has escaped the position, nice work there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cute keeps the fight on the outside.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hanma tries to clinch but Cute moves out of range.
Hanma gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cute counters with a nice double leg into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Cute will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cute connects with a looping right hand.
Hanma wants to clinch.
Cute shoots in and bounces Hanma off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hanma is breathing heavily.
Hanma tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Hanma is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cute is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cute drops back looking for a leg! Hanma is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hanma manages to kick Cute off! Cute jumps back into Hanma's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cute is looking to stand up but Hanma won't let him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hanma looks to clinch
and Cute counters with a shoot takedown. Hanma fights it but they end up in guard.
Hanma throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hanma is on top in guard.
Cute can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hanma controls the pace.

Hanma pushes down on Cute's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hanma not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hanma tries to pass to full mount but Cute defends it.
Cute is staying active underneath Hanma, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like Hanma is going to stand back up.
Hanma is trying to control the action in half guard but Cute is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cute is looking to get back to full guard here but Hanma has managed to pass to side control instead.
Hanma stands up from mount. Strange move.
Cute tries for a takedown but Hanma sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hanma - that will leave a mark!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Cute dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hanma throws a one two combo.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cute.
Hanma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cute pinned against the cage. Cute gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hanma shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cute's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hanma has gone for a leg lock! Cute slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hanma's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cute has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hanma had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cute defends it easily.
Hanma is trying to control the position but Cute postures up.
Cute decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Hanma counters by clinching up.
Hanma gets control of Cute's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hanma will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hanma bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cute's guard.
Hanma wants to pass the guard but Cute is keeping the position.
Hanma is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Tom Cute is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cute wants to sweep but no luck.
Tom Cute overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Yujiro Hanma comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
