Novo Magalhaes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schulz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Magalhaes throws out the jab.

Schulz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Magalhaes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Schulz cracks Magalhaes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Magalhaes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Schulz finish him?

It looks like Novo Magalhaes has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schulz cracks Magalhaes on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Magalhaes falls backwards against the cage. Schulz follows up with more strikes that drop Magalhaes to his knees. Schulz keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Magalhaes! This one is all over!
