Wildfang takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jimmy connects with a high kick.

Wildfang is breathing heavily.

Jimmy postures up in Wildfang's guard and throws a big left but Wildfang blocks it.

Jimmy has gone for a leg lock! Wildfang slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jimmy's guard.
Jimmy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wildfang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jimmy is proving hard to escape from.
Jimmy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wildfang is one step ahead there.

Wildfang wants to stand but Jimmy is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jimmy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wildfang defends it easily.

Jimmy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wildfang has picked Jimmy up and slammed him! Jimmy can't keep hold of the triangle and Wildfang manages to pass to side control!

Jimmy is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wildfang is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Jimmy is in all sorts of trouble here.

Wildfang stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Jimmy connects with a right hand. Wildfang shakes it off.
Wildfang misses with a body kick.
Egon Wildfang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wildfang avoids the body shot from Jimmy.

Wildfang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wildfang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jimmy gets a clinch.

Jimmy jumps guard and drags Wildfang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wildfang is thwarting Jimmy's attempts to control the position.

Jimmy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Jimmy counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jimmy throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jimmy lands with a hook. Wildfang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Egon Wildfang's cut is getting worse.

Jimmy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jimmy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jimmy fails to pull guard.
Jimmy lands an uppercut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jimmy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wildfang just stands there and leans against the cage.

Wildfang is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jimmy is keeping busy.

Jimmy gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wildfang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jimmy wants to control from the top but Wildfang keeps moving.

Jimmy throws and elbow that misses. Wildfang uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jimmy's guard. Nice move by Wildfang!

Jimmy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wildfang stacks Jimmy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wildfang!
A bit of a lull in the action here.

Jimmy has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Wildfang escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Wildfang!
Jimmy is looking for a sweep.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jimmy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jimmy wants to control but Wildfang postures up.
Jimmy looking for a sweep but Wildfang has passed into full mount! Oh no!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jimmy tries to lock up and control but Wildfang gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Blow Jimmy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Jimmy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jimmy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wildfang walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Jimmy feints and then cracks Wildfang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wildfang down.
Jimmy lands a nice shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A jab lands there for Jimmy.
Jimmy throws a series of strikes that have Wildfang backpedaling.
Jimmy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wildfang momentarily.

Egon Wildfang's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jimmy catches Wildfang napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Wildfang to the canvas!

Wildfang is rocked!
Jimmy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wildfang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Wildfang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jimmy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jimmy wants to pass the guard but Wildfang is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jimmy passes Wildfang's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Jimmy is trying to control the action in half guard but Wildfang is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Wildfang is trying to stand back up but Jimmy is controlling him
Jimmy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jimmy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jimmy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Jeez, Egon Wildfang's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Wildfang tries to land a body kick
and Jimmy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A punch combination from Jimmy misses.
Jimmy lands with a shot to the body.
Egon Wildfang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jimmy lands with a straight right. Wildfang didn't see that one coming.
Jimmy throws a head kick but Wildfang moves out of range.
Wildfang takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jimmy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
