Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tores Sani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Masques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Andre Masques !
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sani gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Masques .
Sani closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sani fails in his attempt to clinch.
Masques moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sani's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sani duly obliges.
Masques throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Masques goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Masques slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Masques leaves Sani with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sani dives in and grabs Masques 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Masques pushes down on Sani's head and hops out.
Sani doesn't manage to clinch there - Masques circles away.
Masques scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Masques closes the distance and clinches.
Sani misses with a body punch.
Masques lands a body punch in the clinch.
Sani is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tores Sani. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Masques jumps guard but Sani stands there with Masques around his waist. Masques gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sani is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Masques pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Masques swings wildly with an uppercut but Sani uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on Masques 's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Sani's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Masques jumps guard and drags Sani to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Masques lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sani!

Masques with shots to the head and body - Sani looks very uncomfortable down there.
Oh Sani is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sani really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Sani seems to have got his legs back now.
Sani is bucking up trying to escape but Masques cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The referee warns Sani that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Masques lands a heavy elbow.

Masques connects with a bit shot that sees Sani covering up! More strikes from Masques and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Masques is our winner by TKO!
