And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bent moves forwards but Rodriguez connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rodriguez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rodriguez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bent.
Bent shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rodriguez lands a jab to Bent's midsection.
Bent misses with a few strikes there.

Bent darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rodriguez controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Rodriguez is trying to stand back up but Bent is controlling him
Rodriguez preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Bent is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bent is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bent seems to be working for a kimura but Rodriguez defends the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rodriguez!
Rodriguez scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bent doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bent takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bent on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Rodriguez drops Bent with a beautiful combination! Bent stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rodriguez is looking for the KO!

Rodriguez lands a nice shot to the body.
Rodriguez fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bent to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bent looks to clinch but Rodriguez throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bent taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
