The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
storm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
hammer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from hammer there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like john hammer has been cut.

storm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than storm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

hammer wants to try and get back to his feet.

hammer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for storm on the ground.

storm wants to finish this one by submission but hammer is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from storm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

storm looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

The referee warns hammer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Jeez, john hammer's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at john hammer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
