The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from MAchuca.
Taylor moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Jose MAchuca has been cut.
MAchuca tries to clinch there but Taylor circles away.
MAchuca shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed MAchuca's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose MAchuca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Taylor stuffs the takedown.
MAchuca dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
MAchuca fails in his attempt to clinch.
Taylor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Taylor looks to land a combination but MAchuca avoids it well.
MAchuca tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taylor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten MAchuca somewhat.
MAchuca tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Taylor connects with a stiff jab that staggers MAchuca - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
