Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mistigris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan tries a head kick but it misses.

Logan sends Mistigris crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Logan is motioning to the referee to let Mistigris up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Jack Mistigris has been cut.
Mistigris waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Logan.
Logan misses with a two punch combination.
Logan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mistigris goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Logan dives in and grabs Mistigris's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mistigris pushes down on Logan's head and hops out.

Mistigris darts in and clinches Logan up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You get the feeling that Mistigris really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Logan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mistigris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mistigris lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Logan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mistigris.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Logan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mistigris is controlling him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Mistigris will probably get the nod.

Logan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mistigris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Logan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mistigris was covering up waiting for the punch and Logan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Logan wants to stand but Mistigris has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Logan is stalling in the full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Logan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mistigris, up you get!
Logan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Logan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mistigris tries to get to full guard but Logan has control of the leg.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Logan lands a nice short elbow.
