The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
White keeping hold of Smith's head, controlling as best he can.
White is trying to maintain the position but Smith is very close to passing his half guard.
Smith prevents White from standing back up.
Smith not doing much here.

White wants to get back to his feet.
White trying to control but Smith postures up.

White makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

White has taken the fight to the clinch.

Smith ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Smith no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Smith bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in White's guard.
White manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

White closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. White pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Smith has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed White clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
