Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriel Amok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amok has chosen Devils as his entrance music. Uriel Amok will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dudley Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriel Amok!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amok fails with a takedown attempt.
Blake is looking to score with low kicks.
A head kick misses from Blake.
Amok stuffs the takedown attempt from Blake. Blake gets slowly back to his feet.
Amok scores with a punch to the head.
Amok tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blake paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blake works the jab nicely.
Amok avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blake misses with a two punch combination.
Blake lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Amok shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Amok wants to clinch up but Blake keeps it at a distance.
Blake scores with a leg kick.
Blake throws a leg kick but Amok sees it coming and moves out of range.
Blake misses with a takedown attempt

and Amok counters with a shoot takedown. Blake fights it but they end up in guard.
Blake wants to sweep but no luck.
Amok controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amok slips nicely into half guard.

Amok prevents Blake from improving his position.
Blake wants to control but Amok is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Blake won't allow Amok to pass to mount.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Amok in particular looking to stall.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Amok counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Amok checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Blake throws a looping overhand right but Amok ducks down to avoid it.

and Amok counters with a nice uppercut.

Blake fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Blake throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Amok counters with a leg kick.

A bone on bone clash there as Amok blocks the leg kick.
Blake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Blake drives through with a takedown into guard.
Amok keeping moving, preventing Blake from controlling successfully.

Amok sneaks back into half guard.
Blake looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Amok with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Amok is looking for a sweep. Blake is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Amok tries to roll over but Blake keeps him under control.
Blake is keen to just control but Amok is a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Blake wants to work for an arm triangle but Amok is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
