Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beryllium changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lizard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lizard sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lizard looking for submissions off his back.
Beryllium is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lizard is just riding it out for now. Beryllium eventually gives up the hold.
Beryllium is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lizard trying to control from the bottom.

Beryllium prevents Lizard from improving his position.

Lizard is staying active underneath Beryllium, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Beryllium is trying to work for a kimura but Lizard is defending well.
Lizard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beryllium is working away from the top position though.

Lizard tries to get to full guard but Beryllium has control of the leg.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Beryllium misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Beryllium throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lizard was covering up waiting for the punch and Beryllium finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lizard controls Beryllium momentarily but Beryllium frees himself.
Lizard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beryllium defends it easily.

Lizard is trying to hold Beryllium in close to prevent damage but Beryllium has managed to pass into half guard.

Lizard with the active half guard here but Beryllium passes nicely into side control.
Lizard is breathing heavily.
Beryllium is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lizard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Beryllium is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

and Beryllium counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Beryllium.
Beryllium is looking to work some ground and pound but Lizard has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beryllium got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lizard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beryllium has managed to get both his arms back between Lizard's legs - danger averted.

Beryllium working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Beryllium has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lizard defend it? Beryllium steps over the head and cranks it - Lizard is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Beryllium!
