Overeem misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Overeem takes a swing at Platinov's ribcage but misses.
Platinov digs a good hook to Overeem's body.
Platinov lands a nice looking body shot.

Platinov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Overeem has time to react.
Platinov throws a right hand that Overeem ducks under and follows up with a left that Overeem also avoids with ease.
Overeem takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Platinov lands a nice shot that snaps Overeem's head back.
Platinov checks a low kick from Overeem.
Platinov catches Overeem napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Overeem to the canvas!

Platinov pushes down on Overeem's leg and manages to get into half guard.
