PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vinicus Brazzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Kito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roy Kito was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kito clinches up against the cage.
Kito leaning against his opponent.

Kito breaks from the clinch.
Kito stuffs the takedown.
Kito lands a body shot.

Kito shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kito was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brazzo gets back to half guard.
Kito wants to get back to his feet.

Kito stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Brazzo to get to his feet.

Brazzo tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Kito counters by moving into the clinch.

Kito pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kito closes the distance and pushes Brazzo back into the cage.

Brazzo gets control of Kito's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brazzo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kito wants to get up but he can't break Brazzo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brazzo tries for a takedown but Kito circles away easily

You get the feeling that Kito really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brazzo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Brazzo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kito is aware though and is defending well.
Brazzo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vinicus Brazzo will probably get the nod.

Roy Kito comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kito has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
