Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Hertler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes into the arena with Sexy Boy blaring out of the sound system. Hertler has chosen I'm Awesome as his entrance music. Alan Hertler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hertler.

Hertler tries to clinch but Griffin is having none of it.

Hertler sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Griffin lands with a kick to the temple. Hertler shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Griffin throws a right hand that Hertler ducks under and follows up with a left that Hertler also avoids with ease.
Griffin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Hertler looks gassed!
Griffin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hertler will feel that in the morning.

Hertler takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Griffin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Griffin feints and then cracks Hertler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hertler down.

Hertler is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Griffin.
Griffin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hertler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Griffin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hertler for as long as he can get away with.

Griffin throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hertler has his hands clasped together but Griffin breaks the hold and Hertler is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Griffin!
