Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dog Beta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dejan Djokovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Djokovic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Back in Black - AC/DC. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dejan Djokovic was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Beta misses.
Beta takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Djokovic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beta paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looks like Dejan Djokovic has been cut.

Beta lands a big head kick that sends Djokovic tumbling to the mat! Beta takes a step backwards and waves Djokovic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Djokovic throws his legs up looking for a submission but Beta uses it to pass to side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Beta wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Djokovic, who protects the arm well.
Beta works to advance to full mount. Djokovic defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Djokovic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Beta wants to get back to his feet but Djokovic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Djokovic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Beta turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Beta manages to end up in side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Beta takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Beta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Djokovic sprawls well initially but Beta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
