Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Van Rijn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Rijn has chosen Francesco Zappalà - No Way Out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mike Van Rijn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Forrest Penn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Rijn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Penn swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Van Rijn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Penn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Van Rijn prevents Penn from breaking the clinch.

Penn is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Van Rijn's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
A decent looking cross lands there for Penn.

That has opened up Mike Van Rijn's cut even more.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mike Van Rijn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Van Rijn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
