Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bukit Bintang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Zeridoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zeridoth decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bintang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zeridoth on the ground.

Zeridoth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zeridoth wants to pass to mount but Bintang is defending the position.

Zeridoth is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bintang has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Horrible takedown by Zeridoth or perhaps it was just good defense by Bintang which made him look bad.

Bintang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zeridoth stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Zeke Zeridoth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bintang throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Bintang gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bintang wants to stand and escape but Zeridoth is having none of it.

Zeridoth forces his way into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Zeridoth is pressing down on Bintang's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bintang is holding on for now.
Bintang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Zeridoth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Zeridoth is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Bintang has managed to free his arm - good work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bintang tries to bum rush Zeridoth with a series of wild strikes but Zeridoth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

No joy there for Zeridoth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bintang is looking to clinch but Zeridoth is avoiding it.

Zeridoth closes the distance and clinches.

Zeridoth is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Zeridoth is looking for a triangle but Bintang pushes his legs off easily.
Bintang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bintang tries to stand but Zeridoth is controlling from the bottom.
Bintang wants to pass the guard but Zeridoth is keeping the position.
Bintang is looking to stand up but Zeridoth won't let him.

Zeridoth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bintang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bintang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bintang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zeridoth is proving hard to escape from.

Zeridoth escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bintang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Zeridoth had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bintang is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zeridoth Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bintang's back instead.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zeridoth ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zeridoth no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Zeridoth has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bintang should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Zeridoth has tightened it up now! Bintang should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
