Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimi Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendrix comes to the cage accompanied by Machine Gun. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall tries to clinch but Hendrix moves out of range.
Hendrix shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marshall pinned against the cage. Marshall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Marshall gets caught flat footed, as Hendrix shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hendrix thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hendrix slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Marshall trying to control the position.
Marshall wants to sweep here but Hendrix controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hendrix postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hendrix wants to pass the guard but Marshall is keeping the position.

Hendrix drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marshall manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hendrix has Marshall in his guard.

Marshall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Marshall throwing strikes but missing.
Marshall wants to get up but he can't break Hendrix's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hendrix wants to sweep but no luck.
Marshall in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Marshall is fighting to break Hendrix's control of his arms but Hendrix is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Hendrix looking for a triangle here. Marshall is fighting it but it looks tight! Hendrix pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Marshall is tapping out - this one is all over!
