Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dr Oetker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarmo Koivisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koivisto throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Oetker's head.
Dr Oetker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Koivisto counters by clinching up.
Koivisto using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Oetker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Oetker can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Oetker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Oetker manages to end up in side control.
Koivisto tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Koivisto is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Oetker asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Oetker is looking to take a break and control but Koivisto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Oetker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Koivisto just stands there and leans against the cage.

Oetker has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Koivisto doesn't defend quickly enough and Oetker has managed to lock this one up! Can Koivisto escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Oetker on a fantastic submission victory.
