Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbosa takes the fight into the clinch.
Barbosa misses with the head strike.
A short right from Barbosa on the inside.
Dixon presses Barbosa against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Barbosa jumps guard but Dixon stands there with Barbosa around his waist. Barbosa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dixon.
Barbosa misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dixon scores with a shot to the side of Barbosa's head.
Barbosa takes a shot to the head.
Barbosa tries to pull guard but Dixon won't allow it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dixon - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dixon working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Dixon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Barbosa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dixon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Peter Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Barbosa.
Dixon misses with a punch on the inside.
Barbosa throws a punch but it's blocked by Dixon.
Barbosa misses with a hook from the clinch.
Barbosa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dixon walks away with a smile on his face. Barbosa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dixon scores with a sloppy right hand. Barbosa should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbosa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dixon.

Dixon moves into the clinch successfully.
Barbosa tries for a takedown but Dixon manages to get underhooks.

Dixon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A left hand lands to the body for Dixon.
Barbosa looks gassed!
Barbosa misses with a punch to the body.
Barbosa tries to throw a body punch but Dixon avoids it by throwing Barbosa back against the cage.
Dixon displaying some good clinch control by pressing Barbosa up against the cage.
Dixon prevents a takedown attempt there.

It looks like Marcos Barbosa has been cut.
Dixon lands a nice uppercut.
Dixon tries a knee to the head but Barbosa blocks it.
Dixon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Dixon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Barbosa is rocked!
Dixon lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Barbosa is still on wobbly legs! Can Dixon finish him?
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dixon obliges.
Barbosa seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dixon throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Barbosas head.
Dixon dips a shoulder and cracks Barbosa with a mighty uppercut! Barbosa falls back against the cage and Dixon unloads with a barrage of strikes! Barbosa is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dixon screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
