Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chen Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy LeDouche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeDouche has chosen 30 Century Man as his entrance music. Chen Chong could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Guy LeDouche's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chen Chong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Guy LeDouche!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chong throws a nice looking combination but LeDouche bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chong misses with a hook.
LeDouche shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chong pinned against the cage. Chong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chong misses with a body kick.
Chong misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

LeDouche clinches up against the cage.
Chong can't break the clinch.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from LeDouche.

Chong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

LeDouche gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Chong manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
LeDouche is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

and LeDouche counters with a shoot takedown. Chong fights it but they end up in guard.
LeDouche wants to control from the top but Chong keeps moving.
LeDouche sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chong lands a left and a right that send LeDouche crashing to the mat, dazed. Chong thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Chong throws a shot from downtown. LeDouche moves away and avoids it.

and LeDouche counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chong!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
LeDouche throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

LeDouche is working for a guillotine from mount but Chong frees his head quite easily.
LeDouche is breathing heavily.
Chong tries to reverse the position but LeDouche maintains control.
LeDouche throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Chong is looking to improve his position but LeDouche isn't that keen on the idea.
Chong tries to hold on but LeDouche postures up.
Chong is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
LeDouche sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

LeDouche goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chong turns into him and now he's in LeDouche's guard.
LeDouche wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Chong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

LeDouche is trying to drag Chong to the mat but Chong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
LeDouche throws a punch but it's blocked by Chong.

Guy LeDouche showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


LeDouche takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

You can see the frustration on Chong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

LeDouche is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

I would just about give that final round to Guy LeDouche.
