Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Luis Cantero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Federico Lovalente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cantero comes to the cage accompanied by La mandanga. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cantero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lovalente defends it well.

Cantero wants to pass the guard but Lovalente is keeping the position.
Cantero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lovalente wants to stand and escape but Cantero is having none of it.

Lovalente has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cantero is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lovalente.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jose Luis Cantero.
I think Lovalente has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
