Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jamil Baliw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis has chosen Master Of Puppets as his entrance music. Rodrigo Reis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamil Baliw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodrigo Reis!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baliw misses with a few strikes there.
Baliw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Baliw.
Baliw attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Baliw pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reis throws a series of strikes that have Baliw backpedaling.
Reis misses with a head kick.
Reis lands a jab-cross combination.
Reis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Baliw's calf.
Reis throws a one two combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baliw circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baliw throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Baliw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Baliw is breathing heavily.
Reis rushes Baliw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Baliw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Baliw tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Reis lands a left and a right that send Baliw crashing to the mat, dazed. Reis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Baliw is rocked!
Reis closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Baliw out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rodrigo Reis!
