PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between fred bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chunk Splitso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bob kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sublime - Santeria. fred bob is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, fred bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chunk Splitso!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splitso fails to land the takedown.
Splitso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Splitso shoots for a takedown but bob saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
fred bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chunk Splitso.
Splitso fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Splitso wants to clinch.
bob fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
bob swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
bob clinches but Splitso breaks the clinch

and Splitso counters by clinching up.
Splitso is looking for a takedown up against the cage. bob gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
bob tries to circle away but Splitso has him pinned against the cage.
Splitso fails to pull the fight into his guard.
bob could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
bob is trying to force a seperation but Splitso has the dominant position.

bob's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No joy there for bob, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Splitso checks the leg kick.
Splitso slips a jab and a cross from bob.
bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
bob throws a jab when Splitso was well out of range.
Splitso fails with a takedown attempt.
Splitso shoots for a double leg takedown but bob sprawls well. He's pushed Splitso's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
bob throws a right hand that Splitso ducks under and follows up with a left that Splitso also avoids with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
bob is breathing heavily.

Splitso changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. bob looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
bob is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Splitso has just dragged him back down to the mat.
bob is not content to let Splitso control the position.

Splitso has hold of bob's arm. He's looking for a kimura. bob seems comfortable defending it but Splitso has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! bob is real pain and he's forced to tap out! bob is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Splitso couldn't care less - he's delighted!
