The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freitas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Freitas works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hamed tries to escape but Freitas is in control.
Hamed taking a bit of punishment here - Freitas scoring with strikes.
Freitas happy to just control the position for now.
Freitas has hold of Hamed's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hamed seems comfortable defending it but Freitas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hamed is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hamed is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Freitas couldn't care less - he's delighted!
