The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
thnake tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dantas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

thnake clinches up against the cage.

thnake has Dantas pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. thnake pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dantas tumbling to the mat - thnake dives into Dantas's guard.
Dantas keeping moving, preventing thnake from controlling successfully.
thnake pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dantas is keeping the position for now.
thnake trying to control but Dantas is working from the bottom.

thnake drops back looking for a leg! Dantas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dantas manages to kick thnake off! thnake jumps back into Dantas's guard.

thnake wants to pass to mount but Dantas is defending the position.

thnake is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
thnake passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dantas!
Dantas tries to hold on but thnake pushes him away.

thnake goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dantas turns into him and now he's in thnake's guard.
thnake is breathing heavily.
Dantas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

thnake wriggles free and stands up.

thnake gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dantas avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dantas rolls with it to try and escape but thnake cranks on the arm and Dantas is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
