PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Floppy McPoppins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Dingle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingle has chosen The Dingle Puck Goat as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barry Dingle!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPoppins closes the distance and clinches up with Dingle, looking for a takedown. McPoppins pushes Dingle against the ropes but Dingle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

McPoppins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dingle tries to land a sweep but no joy.

McPoppins throws a big right hand that misses.
